*In general, "contingent attorneys' fees" refers only to those fees charged by attorneys for their legal services. Such fees are not permitted in all types of cases. Court costs and other additional expenses of legal action usually must be paid by the client. However, False Claims Act cases are unlike any other type of lawsuit, and so FCA attorneys' fee agreements are too complex and difficult to summarize for a website. But it is critical to us that you understand how our firm will ultimately be paid, and we will spend all the time you need going over our agreement with you to make sure you are comfortable with the terms of engagement.
