As part of the CLE Committee, Julie Bracker would like to invite everyone to attend the 2nd annual Debra Bernes Memorial Scholarship CLE, presented by the Cobb County Bar Association Women of the Bar Section.

Proceeds from the CLE are used to fund a scholarship founded in honor of the late Judge Debra Bernes of the Court of Appeals of Georgia. This scholarship assists law school students who intend to pursue a career in public interest law.

In addition to supporting this worthy cause, participants in this year’s CLE will have an opportunity to hear Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens discussing ethics issues surrounding sex trafficking; Georgia Solicitor General Sherry Boston on “mastering the ins and outs of cross examination,” Bondurant Mixon attorney John Floyd discussing Civil RICO actions, and a panel of local, state, and federal Judges on the subject of professionalism.

We invite everyone to come out to support a great cause, hear some excellent speakers, and get a jump start on 2016 CLE requirements (or wrap up your 2015 requirements before March 31!)
